OpenBSD/cats


OpenBSD/cats used to run on the Simtec Electronics StrongARM 110 Evaluation Board.

The OpenBSD/cats port was discontinued after the 4.0 release.

There is no longer work on supporting this port, however the source code is still available in the CVS Attic.

History:

OpenBSD/cats was started based on NetBSD -current code of January 2004. It was used as a reasonably fast foundation to the zaurus port.

Once the zaurus port was running well, cats was neglected due to the (relative) lack of hardware, as well as the deceiving hardware reliability, and was eventually dropped shortly after the inception of the armish port.


Current status:

The Simtec StrongARM 110 Evaluation Board is the only supported board at the current time.

Getting and installing OpenBSD/cats:

The last supported OpenBSD/cats release was OpenBSD 4.0.
